There was an audience of over 50 people. They were treated to a delicious buffet and a raffle with masses of lovely prizes.
Next year will be the 50th Anniversary of the Chocolate Soldier. It was founded by a group called "Film Group '88" in 1969. This group was based in Bournville and it is believed that the association with Cadbury's is one of the reasons why the trophy has become known as the Chocolate Soldier Trophy. It is in fact made of wood! And it's not a soldier. It's a man holding a video camera!
